Our initial session will be diagnostic, getting a sense of where you are in the arc of your journey and where the strengths and weaknesses might be currently. Several introductory exercises will help you to begin reorienting your process to align more directly with your greatest potential and based on that we can create a plan unique to your individual needs.

FAQs
Do you help with audition preparation?
Yes. Audition prep is one of my specialities. However, I do not assist or coach auditions intended for the Juilliard Drama Division.
DO YOU SUPPLY THE SCRIPTS AND OTHER MATERIAL?
In some situations, particularly early on, I will select the right scene or monologue for you in order to address a targeted area of your development. Other times you yourself will bring in material you find exciting, interesting, or challenging.
are sessions in person and online?
Yes, due to geographic limitations some students opt to receive coaching via an online platform. In-person work is, of course, the ideal. Students are responsible for securing adequate work space. (Usually renting a studio).
Do you work with classical text?
I do indeed! My classical text focus is almost entirely with the comedies and dramas of William Shakespeare. Occasionally, if the circumstances are right and it seems to be a good fit, I will introduce other playwrights such as Goldsmith, Congreve, Sheriden, Feydeau, Moliere, Goldoni, and others.
Do you offer discounts?
Private coaching is $150 hr. However, I do offer discounts, but very limited and only on a case by case basis.
Do you teach film acting technique?
Good acting is good acting regardless the medium. However, the craft of film and television has an array of special techniques actors need to learn. I am capable of providing introductory knowledge of how an actor prepares for and handles the special requirements of acting for the camera.
